Requiem For Individuality

Up until a few decades ago it was believed that no two human beings to walk the earth have ever been physically "identical" based on the fact that no two people have the same fingerprints or irises. Today that belief, for the time being anyway, seems to be firmly re-enforced by "genetic science"

Whether you look at it religiously, scientifically, or sociologically the end is the same. Even if you have the identical genetic make-up, and are raised by the same parents, live in the same home, attend the same schools, and travel in the same circle of friends, you are, to a greater or lesser degree, unlike anyone else on this planet!

Why is it then that people today so hard pressed into political, economic, social, or religious boxes? Even more important to ask is, why do some people willingly, even happily do so?

Now I understand that it is natural to prefer people with similar beliefs, interests, and even people of the same cultures over others.

What is not natural however is despising people who do not share these things with you!

What is ironic is that the real haters, the ones who want those who don't agree with them to be re-educated and get sensitivity and or diversity training are the same people calling for tolerance and for the acceptance of diversity.

How Did The Confusion All Get Started? "Progress" The progressive movement has been hard at work indoctrinating people into their ideologies for over a century and have done so very quietly and covertly. So much so in fact that the changes seen today seem to be quite normal and even acceptable.

There have been thousands of sociopolitical movements in US over the course of its history and each of them have a common thread running through them.

Each movement further polarized people as individuals in the name of Justice!

The terms Social Justice, Economic Justice and Racial Justice for example, have bastardized the word and subsequently even the precept of Justice. Justice is a principle which states that people should receive that which they deserve. Deserve means to have a just claim or right to a thing in return for services or meritorious actions.

The "Woke Movement" is the latest example of the hypocrisy of the sensitive, tolerant, justice seeking left wing-nuts who laugh and cheer as the new "cancel culture" begins to take root in America, and the ONLY way to fight back is as a group with a "boycott culture".

With very few exceptions individuals living in America today can no longer fight their own battles. And this for a number of reasons, not the least of which being that the left wing-nuts are in power and are growing in numbers. Social Marxists and Useful Idiots, respectively. But just as the frog in the pot, when the reality of what the useful idiots have done finally sets in, it will be too late for all of us. Unless they truly become "woke" and begin to see where the path they are traveling is leading us and where it will end!
