Authoritarian Indoctrination: Civil Servants and The Citizenry

Tammany Hall - The Birthplace of the authoritarian state in America!

Tammany Hall, also called Tammany, the executive committee of the Democratic Party in New York City historically exercising political control through the typical “boss-ist” blend of charity and patronage. Its name was derived from that of an association that predated the American Revolution and had been named after Tammanend, a wise and benevolent chief of the Delaware people.

William S. Devery - In 1891 Devery became precinct captain and took control of the Elbridge Street station in the Tenderloin district. Devery did not combat the corruption, instead he let it play out in his favor, telling his men to leave the "grafting" to him. He is said to have collected large sums — perhaps through a tailor — to afford police protection. He no doubt padded his pockets during this time.

But the bribery and extortion did not go unnoticed, for Devery was soon investigated by a legislative committee and found himself fighting indictment after indictment in the subsequent years. In 1897, he was charged and convicted for the corruption and was dismissed from the force, but won back his right to serve in the department at the behest of the New York Court of Appeals. The government was corrupt, government officials were corrupt, elections were corrupt, police were corrupt, the fire departments uses to start fires to loot the neighboring houses.

ALL DOCUMENTED HISTORY!

What's The Point?

What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Ecc 1:9

What we are seeing today, in terms of the Authoritarianism running rampant in America, is nothing new. It is as it has been, and has never ceased to be. What is different this time around is that they are not trying to hide their ideology any more!

Getting To The Meat

Why are they not trying to hide it anymore?

Because they believe what they are told by their instructors during their training (that they are the boss), which is subsequently re-enforced by their superiors when the trainees get into the streets and/or offices. Watch the videos!

From first contact with government officials, no matter high up or down the ladder you go, there is an air of privileged authoritarianism around them. The way they walk up to you, speak to you, act towards you, it's as if you are completely insignificant and beneath them.

Here Is Why The Problem Persists:

On the Citizen Side, the citizenry is either unaware of their rights, or afraid to exercise them because of the intimation and fear tactics that authorities are trained to implement in the field.

On the Civil Servant Side, the officials either don't know the law, or do and don't care about it!

When you show the postmaster of a post office Poster 7 (Rules and Regulations Governing Conduct on Postal Service Property), which clearly lays out the rules for photography and videoing, and then proceeds to try to exit you from the building for exercising your first amendment rights, or proceeds to call law enforcement even when he or she the regulations, what does that tell you?

I can't tell you how many times I've heard Civil Servants speak the words, "because I said so" or "I don't care about the law" ,or "this is my building", or "this is private property", when it wasn't not even close to being true.

People are literally scared to death when the police come up to them abruptly and they start barking orders at you, trying to shut down your speech by talking or yelling over you, keeping their hand on their gun while posturing (adopting a vain conceited posture), and I get it, I do.

The thing is that if we had allowed the British to continue to do the very same thing we would have all become slaves to the Empire. And if we do not at this point in time, at the very least resist, we will suffer that exact fate. For Sure!

This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or exercise their revolutionary right to overthrow it. Abe Lincoln

The rights of persons, and the rights of property, are the objects, for the protection of which Government was instituted. James Madison

Liberty is not something a government gives you. It is a right that no government can legally take away. A.E. Samaan

Know Your Rights or You Will Surrender Them,

Fight For Your Rights or They Will Be Taken By Force,

Loose Your Rights And It Is Finished!

"It astonishes me to find... [that so many] of our countrymen should be contented to live under a system which leaves to their governors the power of taking from them the trial by jury in civil cases, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of commerce, the habeas corpus laws, and of yoking them with a standing army. This is a degeneracy in the principles of liberty... which I [would not have expected for at least] four centuries." Thomas Jefferson, 1788
